TESTIMONIALS

– JIM STARK, Executive Director of the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame
"It is with the deepest respect, admiration and appreciation that I recognize Albert Scaglione with the 2010 Q2 Award. Albert Scaglione is most deserving of this recognition because of his tireless efforts toward enhancing the quality of life for others as well as his deep caring, compassion and concern for those facing extreme hardship. He has been at the vanguard in promoting the arts, philanthropy and volunteerism for over forty years."
– L. BROOKS PATTERSON, Oakland County Executive
"We are very grateful for the wonderful generosity of Park West Gallery. This donation is not the first time they have supported our organization. For the past several years, Park West Gallery has been a valued partner in our efforts to address homelessness in Michigan."
– PASTOR KENT CLARK, CEO of Grace Centers of Hope (Pontiac, Michigan)
"We are deeply appreciative to Mr. and Mrs. Scaglione's contributions in supporting our organization and positively impacting the lives of those who come through the doors here at Grace Centers of Hope."
– MICHELLE ATWELL, Director of Development for Grace Centers of Hope (Pontiac, Michigan)
"We are very grateful for this donation from Park West Gallery; it will help our families as they look to start a new life after leaving an abusive relationship."
– BELLE HORNUNG, Volunteer, Intern and In – Kind Donations Coordinator for HAVEN (Pontiac, Michigan)
"We have a volunteer who collects the dirty clothing of the homeless when they come for a shower. She gives them clean clothing in exchange for what they are wearing. Then she takes the dirty clothing home and washes them to recycle the clothing the next time she volunteers. This volunteer struggles with a chronic illness that often leaves her unable to come in to help. When she is not here, the atmosphere is filled with stress and disappointment. All too often, there is nothing clean for our people to put on after their shower. This gift from Park West Gallery is manna from heaven. We work to help restore dignity. Often a shower, a shave and a haircut is the highlight of the week for many. To be able to give them a new shirt, a warm jacket for the cold nights that will come during the winter months, a rain poncho – what a blessing. This is so much, for those who have so little. Our gratitude is immense."
– MARTI FORMAN, CEO of The Cooperative Feeding Program (Ft. Lauderdale, Florida)
"Park West Gallery answered Calvary Chapel's 'Don't Just Stand There . . . DO Something' initiative with their generous donation of brand new clothing and home goods for the homeless and needy of Broward County that take refuge in our Outreach Ministry program. We currently have three locations serving those less fortunate with food, clothing and shelter. Sales from the thrift store go directly towards supporting the thousands of children and families in our communities. As unemployment continues to creep upwards, more and more of South Florida's unemployed are reaching out to local community organizations, like ours, for aid. We are truly grateful to partner with Park West Gallery in our collective goal to serve the people and community we live in."
– PASTOR BOB COY, Calvary Chapel (Ft. Lauderdale, Florida)
"Just a small note of thanks for your generosity and heartfelt support. The clothes your team donated to Second Chance thrift store has been a tremendous blessing. The shirts, pants, shorts, and jackets have been quite popular items with our customers. The lives of families in need, orphans, children in foster care and our local community are all made better through your abundant gift. We are deeply grateful and humbled."
– CURTIS COPELAND, Store Manager of Second Chance Thrift Store (North Lauderdale, Florida)
"With the generosity and support of Park West CARES, the children we serve will be able to go back to school feeling proud wearing their new clothing and be prepared for success with their new essentials. Thank you Park West CARES!"
– KAREN HOLMES, Development Specialist for Children's Home Society (Ft. Lauderdale, Florida)
